Introducing the Quiksilver Sessions Wetsuit Range

The Quiksilver Sessions wetsuit range is what we’ve all been waiting for. It has everything you need in a wetsuit from warmth to flexibility AND is made in a way that is kinder to the planet. This mid-range wetsuit comes in two different styles and multiple thicknesses, and is perfect for eco-conscious, regular surfers who are looking to upgrade their sessions on the water. The Everyday Sessions is the slightly thinner, stretchier wetsuit out of the two styles and the Marathon Sessions has a few upgrades making it great for cold water and longer sessions.

Sustainability

Over the past 20 years, Quiksilver have been making changes and running projects with the aim to become more sustainable. For example, they have used over 200 million recycled plastic bottles to create their products. Quiksilver are more committed than ever to ensuring their wetsuits perform in the water but have low impact on the environment. These wetsuits are Bluesign® certified meaning they are made using more-sustainable processes than traditional methods. For instance, rather than depending on oil to make the neoprene, Quiksilver uses a limestone-derivate neoprene made from scrap rubber tires. Plus, the coating uses water-based glues eliminating the need for toxic solvents. The Marathon Sessions wetsuit incorporates WarmFlight technology which is made from recycled PET bottles and produces 24% less CO2 emissions than their other wetsuits.

Warmth

The everyday sessions range has a Warmflight Eco Velvet lining through the suit that is exceptionally comfortable, lightweight and works to keep the body heat in and the water out.  Perfect for keeping you warm during your day-to-day sessions. When it’s a bit nippier, the Marathon Sessions has an upgraded lining to keep you warm even in the coldest of waters. This is the Warmflight Far Infrared Lining that transforms body heat into infrared energy to generate. The 'thermal smoothie' neoprene on the back and front panels is wind shielding, water repellent and the most-flexible you’ll get at this price point.

Stretch

It’s hard to believe that a wetsuit with that much warmth can also be super stretchy, but the sessions wetsuit is! The stretchflight neoprene, that features in both the everyday and the marathon sessions wetsuits, is one of Quiksilver’s innovations and has finally launched after years of development. It combines comfort and warmth with a lightweight design and ultimate flexibility to provide a superior ride.
