Get ready to ride the waves and have some serious fun with our favourite bodyboarding kit…
Designed to tackle some of the heaviest surf conditions around, the Shackle won’t let you down. With its contoured neoprene bicep strap, 7.0mm cord, two naval brass swivels and shackle, the 1.2m leash is a serious bit of kit that you can rely on.
New for this year, the Billabong Foil 3/2mm chest zip Steamer wetsuit is all about creating a wetsuit that performs, but that’s still affordable. They’ve nailed it by taking the stretch, flex and warmth from the premium suits and putting then in this fashionable camo wetty. Features include internal hollow fibre thermal chest and back, glued and blind stitched seam construction and strategically positioned seams for maximum flexibility.
Gul have done a sterling job on the design of Flexor III with its custom shaped bat end tail and underside channels. Thanks to the design and excellent build quality – it features Surlyn Bottom with Channels and EPO Core – the 42-inch board offers speed, control and stability. The non X-Link deck features 60:40 rails and comes with a coil leash and plug.
We love this neoprene change mat from Rip Curl – it protects our tootsies from pesky stones and our wetsuits from picking up sand while we change. It doubles as a good looking – especially in this fluro yellow – boot liner too!
You couldn’t ask more from a bodyboard bag – Arica by Gul will store one or two boards in its main compartment. The front zip compartment comes with drainage holes, which allows you to stuff in your wet gear in and leave it drying – awesome!
You’ll get more power per kick with these Swarm fins from Typhoon. They feature a shorter and stiffer fin than normal fins, lending themselves to getting you back out through the surf with less effort, so you can stay out for longer!
