A little intro into the NEW Adventure Board Range from Red Paddle Co, plus a few helpful tips on how to browse the brand’s offering here at WSO.
If you want to learn more about the brand and their boards are well worth the investment, check out our recent article Paddles with Anya & Co. Or if you’re not sure if your budget can stretch to a Red board, then it might be worth reading our 5 Reasons to Invest in a Paddle Board.
When you first visit the Red Paddle Co brand page, it may seem overwhelming. We stock such a wide range of boards, each with their own set of bundle options - It’s a lot to take in. So, here are some quick tips on how to browse the Red Paddle Co board range:
Select your chosen board range
This is dependent on your budget, board requirements, paddle aspirations, and confidence level.
Select the board length that’s right for you
Do this by making an estimate of your weight, also consider glide (longer boards) and manoeuvrability (shorter boards). If you’re unsure, then give our expert team a call on 0044 1702 295678.
Select your chosen bundle package
As we have so many variations listed, it can be tricky to navigate through the different packages on offer. As a general rule of thumb, we list them as follows:
Board only
Board plus paddle bundle
Board plus upgraded paddle bundle
Board, paddle, plus accessories (bag, pump, leash etc.)
If you’re new to SUPs, we recommend going for a full bundle with bag and pump included, as this is a great offer for newbie paddlers. The main reason for listing multiple bundle types is to allow you to upgrade your board, without having to buy the same set of accessories again.
This means that you can grow your board collection without doubling up on gear - Good value and a lessened impact on the environment. Two things ourselves and Red Paddle Co hold in high esteem.
Take your on-water adventures to the next level with these lightweight tourers, ideal for those looking for speed and stability. A Sport + SUP board is a great step up from a Ride, especially if you have some longer trips planned in or starting to take paddle fitness more seriously.
If you already have a bag and pump from a previous Red bundle purchase, why not explore the Stand Up Paddle Board and Prime Lightweight Paddle pairing? It’s a great step up, with the upgraded performance paddle utilising a carbon weave for greater strength whilst remaining super light and responsive.
The ultimate expedition board, packed full of innovative features such as the front and rear cargo areas, unique V-Hull construction, and twin-fin setup for optimum tracking in unruly waters. There’s also ample room for a child or dog to sit up front, with a good few sizing options available at WSO.
Here we have the 12’0, 12’6, and 13’2 models - All with corresponding bundle options to suit your needs. These are great boards for day-long paddles or even longer trips, where you’ve a set destination in mind and want to carry all of your gear with you.
Offering uncompromised performance and control, the Elite range has been thoroughly tested by the best to thrive in a competitive race environment. Both the 12’6 and 14’0 models have been fully redesigned, and are now built from a super-light, ultra-stiff MSL®800 double-drop-stitch material with RSS battens plus FFC nose-rod to lock in stiffness.
This versatile racer is truly competitive across all disciplines – from technical to long-distance, flat-water to downwinders to surf-racing. Long, drawn-out rails tapering to a rounded pintail ensure amazing glide and distance per stroke.
For lighter riders and fun little sessions in light surf. The Red Paddle Co Ride range is an incredibly versatile, durable, and accessible set of SUP boards. With the 10’6 Ride Stand Up Paddle Board Package and 10'6" Ride Limited Edition Stand Up Paddle Board both coming in under £1000. Seriously good value.
Sharing the fun-loving character and style of our award-winning Rides, the narrower 10’2 Ride board is even more agile than its siblings. Quicker to inflate and more manageable for smaller beginners, improvers, and wave-hungry intermediates.
