Concerned about getting to grips with the latest Red Paddle Co SUP boards and equipment? Never fear, Red Paddle Co have released these handy how-to guides to help you get pumped...
On the very rare occasion that you may have to remove your valve for cleaning or maintenance, Red's Co Founder John Hibbard talks you through the process and the equipment required.
We were asked on our Facebook page how to pack a board into the bag with our new Titan pump. So we thought we would but a little video together to illustrate how easy it still is.
Paddles come in either fixed, vario (adjustable) or 3 piece vario and we often get asked how to adjust your paddle length on our vario paddles. Here we explain how you can adjust each of the two systems to get the paddle length right for you.
We often get asked how our new Titan pump works and how it can inflate our boards in half the time with half the effort. So we got the designer to go through the technical elements to what makes this pump so awesome!!
We have designed our pumps to be simple to use and as maintenance free as possible, but if you do need to maintain your pump, this is how to do it.
By looking at how and where a board flexes we have developed and patented the Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) to increase rigidity by up to 40%. It works by inserting stiffening battens along the rails of the board. The battens then work against the downward force of the rider to produce a stiffer board by preventing flex – similar to how a stringer works on a hard board. The stiffening battens are removable for easy board rolling and can be stored in the carry bag for transportation to and from the water.
This video shows you how to fit the RSS battens into your board.
We often get asked what the best technique is for pumping up our boards is, as we have some experience in this field we thought we would put together a short How to Pump video!
Some of our more specialist boards come with a removable fin system, here we show you how you fit these on to your board.
